The Elements of Blacksmithing

We at Artisan Estate, believe that these elements play an important role in team development, and are delivered in our engaging and hands-on Blacksmithing Activities. With no prior Blacksmithing experience needed, your team can take part in a unique learning & cultural experience.

Your private workshop experience can be tailored to include morning tea, light refreshments, or a complete BBQ lunch/dinner.

Workshop Duration: Between 3 – 6hrs depending on numbers

We had a great few hours at the Artisan Estate’s Maker Shed hammering away. Our Engineering and Product Management teams loved getting their hands dirty and making something special. Definitely recommend it for a truly unique and interactive corporate event, right here on The Central Coast!

We loved the day of blacksmithing. The beautiful, rustic shed is very well equipped. Chris is a great teacher. He showed the techniques, let us do most of the work, gave tips as we went along and helped out when we hit trouble. We ended up making many more things than expected - nails, hooks and a couple of knives - all with our personal touch.

We visited the stunning Artisan Estate for a team building event. We chose the Blacksmithing workshop. I could not have asked for a better day! Chris & Madeline were amazing hosts and we all thoroughly enjoyed the Blacksmith experience.

Fantastic experience! Meeting Chris and learning from him was an experience I will never forget, his knowledge of blacksmithing and his patience for teaching made learning this artform extremely fun, the photos taken by Madeline throughout the course came out great! Overall great people to talk to and learn from in such a beautiful location and got to take home something I made with my own 2 hands!
